Being proactive From birth, learning begins, and babies face this without fear as many times as necessary. Without worrying about the attempts, they will do it as many times as necessary until reaching an end. They are only adapting to the laws of nature. This natural way of learning could be used in classes not to generate anguish and pressure on students. The evaluations are primarily based on the fact that we use COVA and CSLE. In the video (A New Culture of Learning, Douglas Thomas at TEDxUFM, 2012), it is a constant that schools are experimenting since the third-grade creativity and innovation are lost, and most teachers are teaching to learners only pass a test. Education is entirely standardized. The times determined to teach each TEKS are not enough generating that many subjects are taught superficially. The teaching system is not designed to satisfy the cognitive process of the children or the time that implies for each learner to understand and learn a new concept. A naturalistic way that I like to apply in my classes occurs when I first allow them to explore and speculate on the activity that will be carried out later, where even they sometimes make statements that I did not expect and go beyond what was expected. According to (Creating Significant Learning Environments (CSLE), 2015) the ideal environment for students is one that allows them to develop without distress and be themselves. Plays and hands-on activities are the ways that most generate passion in students, generating a space of joy and motivation to continue their learning; without worrying about the results because even if they lose in the game, they feel that they can keep trying.
A teacher's job is to create a context where they can cultivate imagination, honor passion, and help students connect their passions to the things they need to learn. What is learned with joy and generating in students confidence that they can do it without comparing themselves to others will surely reach the first step so that the natural learning system works correctly and motivates, generating passion for learning. Nowadays, the holistic way of teaching is the root or base of teaching, and this is an alternative of teaching based on giving new experiences; In my classes, I always try to show new ways of teaching and allow natural development when I allow my students to read the books that catch their attention, without worrying about the reading level in which the students should be according to the standards, but rather I only allow you to enjoy reading for the simple passion of reading. So I have discovered the taste of many of my students. Some are inclined to read about science, other novels, history but definitely, what if it is general that everyone likes to read without following a standard.
I am proactive in my classes by teaching my students to always look for solutions without depending on anyone; using technology when it is necessary, giving to them a significant learning environment, I like to teach them the different resources and use the one they consider most appropriate.
