Innovation Proposal
Bilingual Readers Struggling

As part of my Master in DLL program at Lamar University, I had to design and implement a research project, so I decided to focus on increasing the student achievement of second and third-grade students who do not meet the necessary goals to different circumstances. I felt that this was my opportunity to face the challenge I needed in my classroom, and I realized that I would stand up for my organization and partners.

This ePortfolio shares my knowledge and experiences working as a bilingual teacher and how it is possible to implement new learning models through the Master in DLL. We must stop using only a linear concept and use a new and better system to bring opportunities and change. This innovation project is quite simple to implement and does not require additional resources, as Katy ISD has provided all these technology tools to teachers and students. However, it requires using them differently.

It is an excellent opportunity to help visitors understand each detailed action I have taken to develop this proposal, the context, and the project's background. With a click on the text box can start reading content and see all the relevant information details.

Step 1.
Watch the introductory video that will explain what will be found in the Innovation Proposal Plan project in blended learning.

Step 2.

Read about projects, books, websites, magazine articles that I have previously consulted to give an appropriate approach to the project and have conceptual knowledge and investigate other entities that have implemented this type of project and how they have been successful; for more specific details, go to  Literature Review.

Step 3

Subsequently, a letter proposal was made to the school administration and the guidelines to be followed.

Step 4

Finally, find the Implementation Outline Plan

INTRODUCTION
This innovation plan allows students the freedom to master a topic or delve into something they love. In addition, reading is a subject that can be linked to all other subjects, which results in a great learning opportunity involving all academic areas.
This project is developed to help second and third-grade students who do not meet the necessary goals and are behind due to different circumstances.

Re: Innovation Plan Proposal

During the school year that just ended, we can feel the need to use more technology and help bilingual third-graders, especially those who do not achieve the needed goals and are behind.
