The New Culture of Learning

Changes are a normal process in life; for such reason, a change in the education system is necessary through time and with age.  According to the videos (Creating Significant Learning Environments (CSLE), 2015) CSLE, the change must occur in me first to then be able to motivate those who intervene in my project. These changes arise through reaching out more to my students and mainly to give them the possibility of developing and performing at their own pace, choice, ownership, voice, and Authentic Learning COVA.  Therefore, the creator of these educational environments, despite the system's rigidity, change is necessary for those learners with new ways to learn and ways to grow their minds. The proposed changes are mainly based on those students who do not meet the necessary goals due to different circumstances and require that independence to help them grow by themselves and at their own pace. This is not to say that others in the class will be left to follow a master class. On the contrary, they will have the opportunity to use the resources and benefit from the proposed changes in my project.

This change process must be focused on the environment, an environment that generates a learner's confidence. They feel that their voice is heard, that they have the opportunity to learn what they like and in the way that they prefer it so that the learning environment is adequate for their mind to grow and show their abilities without fear. The authors of (A New Culture of Learning by Doug Thomas & John Seely Brown, 2011) promote building an environment of imagination where the passion for doing comes to the fore. Therefore, the need arises to create a naturalistic learning environment where the students can learn through play, playful activities, and based on experience and daily life.
To achieve this development of imagination and creativity, I intend to include in my proposal a model for Bilingual classes that will adopt blended learning methodologies which have been used and studied for the new times according to the new investigation (Bates, 2021)  that allow students to acquire an individual learning style, enhancing teaching routines and measuring students' growth during the next academic year to learn more about my proposal click here

Implementation

From the beginning of the program, my purpose has been focused on helping students who need a particular model designed for them without having any special education qualification giving learners a different academic environment with pace, their understanding is further.  However, this project applies to any student since I intend to provide broad topics to read in individual and small groups according to the TESK and District requirements. I am applying pedagogical theories that suit the needs of my students, such as constructivist ones. However, reading and using proposals, according to (Bates 2021). I was able to find a vast resource to better apply in my project, such as "Do we need a theory for blended learning?" which reading carefully gives me directions to expand my ideas and give a better focus to my project.

The way to approach the challenges I can do is by preparing my lesson plans with enough resources that are applied to real-life, hands-on, and that my students can apply what they have learned in class or through technology in their daily lives.

The challenge is to teach them for life. For example, when students learn the techniques to find the solution to a daily problem or a task looking for information through the internet, students must use the techniques that I have given regarding that not everything on the internet is reliable and exact. Therefore, they must learn to distinguish which pages or apps are correct to know or find a solution to a problem.

The School District I work for seems to have strict and fixed teaching measures. However, after a few years of teaching with them, I have understood that although they are rigid, the Principal and couches are open to the new ideas in my school. They are willing to listen and see the best options in the best interest of our students. So my perspectives correctly presented would have a good welcome.

On the other hand, we can use methods used in the past or that we are currently using, but modify them to suit the needs and perspectives of the 21st century that we are living in. So, we can direct our plans in a current way and look to shape the future.   I consider that my perspective has vast creativity, and I intend to show originality.  Also can make the necessary changes and adjustments to obtain an adequate proposal putting all my worth, based on my learnings in this DLL Master but applying the theories that I will adjust to my needs and those of the students. I always am prepared for my opponents or those who do not believe in my proposal to consider putting it into practice by showing creativity and planned work.
