Revolution, not evolution Sir Ken Robinson talks about the different circumstances in which people cannot show their true capabilities and do something, not their passion, by following a linear system. Therefore, Sir Ken raises the need to produce a true revolution in the educational system, not only to evolve as it will not be enough to reach people's perspectives in these times. The revolution will make it so successful if it is personalized and allows students to develop and reach their perspectives, and leads students to show their passion for what they do. People misunderstood the life position since life became a linear system; perhaps this worked when companies used a linear work system to speed up production and work improvement. However, humanity got confused when thinking that a linear system could work and turn everything into something rigid, putting aside innovation and
forgetting to do what they love.
Finally, Sir Ken Robinson reads the sentence that most impacted me "I have spread my dreams under your feet, tread softly because you tread on my dreams" it is about how we must block the children's dreams. This is so real that we can often lead them to achieve their dreams or, with a word, destroy their dreams for life, so it is essential always to know how to build and not destroy.
Regarding the RSA ANIMATE: Drive video: The surprising truth about what motivates us, I have never liked the carrot system. From my own experience, I consider that it only damages self-esteem, so I promote and motivate my students' autonomy, who have mastery of their knowledge without thinking of a grade on a test. I prefer to motivate them to know their environment to value what they know and how they learn it, and the use that they could give it in everyday life. Hence, students find a more valuable and pleasant way to study and learn. Creating an environment of calm and responsibility is my philosophy of learning.
